1660.02 INSTALLATION REQUIRED; PLACEMENT; HARD-WIRED DETECTORS.

At least one carbon monoxide detector shall be installed in all new residential constructions, outside the sleeping area, in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. The carbon monoxide detector shall be hard-wired, with battery backup, and shall meet Underwriter's Laboratory standards, that is UL 2034.
