1464.07 BASE AND SUBGRADE.

A granular leveling course of not less than four inches in depth and made of stone, gravel, limestone screenings or other nonsettling material shall be installed as a subgrade. Excavations or trenches under a drive shall be compacted or filled with a nonsettling material. The subgrade or base shall be dampened if dry before pouring.
