Upon a violation by any person registered under this chapter of any law of the State or the Village, of any rule or regulation prescribed thereunder or of any reasonable order of the Inspector of Buildings made pursuant thereto, the Inspector may revoke such registration and such person shall discontinue all work as a contractor during such revocation. Such registration may be renewed upon filling of a new application and payment of a fee therefor, as upon an original application, and upon satisfactory proof to the Inspector that any necessary corrections have been made or violations abated, and upon reasonable assurance of compliance with such laws, regulations and orders.
