(a) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both, for each offense.
(b) Whoever violates any provision of Sections 1060.02 through 1060.05 shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense, and of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree for second or subsequent violations occurring within twelve months of a prior conviction or plea of guilty or no contest for a similar offense. Penalty shall be as provided for in Section 698.02 of these Codified Ordinances.
