(a) No person shall discharge any gun, rifle, air rifle, revolver, dangerous ordnance, pistol or firearm of any kind within the boundaries of the Village. However, the use of firearms as set forth in this division shall not be construed as applying to the use of firearms in the lawful defense of the person, family or property of any person, nor to regularly appointed police officers acting in the line of duty.
(b) No person having upon his or her person a gun, rifle, air rifle, revolver, pistol or firearm of any kind shall enter upon the land or premises of another without having in his or her possession the written consent of the owner of such land or premises, or of the agent of such owner, unless the owner or agent is present and assenting thereto. However, the use of firearms as set forth in this division shall not be construed as applying to regularly appointed police officers acting in the line of duty.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
