660.05   DUTY TO KEEP SIDEWALKS IN REPAIR AND CLEAN.
   (a)   No owner or occupant of lots or lands abutting any sidewalk, curb or gutter shall fail to keep the sidewalks, curbs and gutters in repair and free from snow, ice or any nuisance, and to remove from such sidewalks, curbs or gutters all snow and ice accumulated thereon within a reasonable time, which will ordinarily not exceed 12 hours after any storm during which the snow and ice has accumulated.

   (b)   No owner or occupant of abutting lands shall fail to maintain that portion of such lands that is immediately adjacent to a public roadway. As used in this division:
      (1)   "Maintain" means to mow the lawn no less frequently that once in a two-week period from May 1 to November 1, to remove noxious weeds and rank vegetation, and to keep the area free of debris and anything constituting a nuisance.
      (2)   "That portion of such lands that is immediately adjacent to a public roadway" means a distance of 15 feet, on both sides of a roadway, from the edge of the roadway, or the edge of a curb if there is a curb, perpendicular to the property line of the owner or occupant of abutting lands, but excluding the berms of the public way.
   (c)   No person removing snow from any driveway or sidewalk within the Village shall deposit the same upon the pavement or sidewalk of any public street or on any tree lawn on any public street, except the tree lawn immediately in front of the premises from which the snow is removed. No person shall snow plow or otherwise push snow across the street of any roadway. No person shall operate a snow blower so as to blow snow onto any Village street.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
