(a) Effective January 1, 2013, every full-time dispatcher officer shall be entitled to a uniform/maintenance allowance of five hundred dollars ($500.00) in each calendar year, payable in such manner as determined from time to time by the Police Chief, Fiscal Officer and the Mayor.
(b) Effective January 1, 2013, every part-time dispatcher shall be entitled to a uniform/maintenance allowance of three hundred twenty dollars ($320.00) in each calendar year, payable in such manner as determined from time to time by the Police Chief, Fiscal Officer and the Mayor.
(c) For the first year of employment, all newly hired dispatchers shall be equipped with a dispatcher uniform in accordance with their needs as approved by the Chief of Police.
(d) In the event a dispatcher does not serve the entire twelve months, the clothing allowance shall be pro-rated based upon the actual days served in the year in which their employment was discontinued.
