(a) For full-time officers, the Village shall pay the monthly insurance premiums necessary to provide medical and prescription coverage, vision coverage and dental coverage, including orthodontia. Lasik eye surgery up to one thousand eight hundred dollars ($1,800) per officer will be paid for full-time and part-time officers, effective January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2012.
(b) Effective January 1, 2018, employees are responsible for paying 15% of the premium for health insurance. Employee contributions will be automatically deducted from employee paychecks through the Finance Department. Employee contributions will be split between the first two paychecks of each month.
