The Street Commissioner shall be responsible for the prompt removal of snow and ice, including spreading of salt and/or cinders (and for acquiring and stockpiling adequate supplies of salt and cinders) on all Village roads. He or she may delegate to the senior patrolman on duty the authority to call out snow removal crews.
