Publication of ordinances, resolutions, statements, orders, proclamations, notices, notices of public hearings, and reports required by law or ordinance to be published shall be published by the Village by one of the following methods, at the direction of the Clerk of Council:
(a) Posting. By posting said publication in at least five public locations within the Village, including any of the following:
(1) At Village Hall;
(2) On the Village of Walton Hills website;
(3) On the sign outside the Village Hall;
(4) At the corner of Dunham Road & Alexander Road;
(5) At the corner of Walton Road & Egbert Road.
(b) Newspaper Publication. By publication in any newspaper printed in the State of Ohio and of general circulation in the Village of Walton Hills, Ohio, and said newspaper containing such publication shall be circulated at least seven days prior to any public hearing required by law.

For any public hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Clerk of Council shall, in addition to the publication requirements of Section 222.01, mail, by regular U.S. mail, notification of the date, time and place of the public hearing, along with a succinct statement of the application and/or issue to be presented at such hearing, and the property address of the property pertaining to the application, to all property owners that own property adjacent to and/or abutting the applicant's property. Said notice shall be mailed not less than ten days prior to the date of the public hearing.
