§ 36.03 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS DEALING WITH CITY REQUIRED TO PROVIDE CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE.
   Any and all independent contractors doing business with or for the city must provide as part of their contract with the city a certificate of insurance indemnifying the city from any and all losses occasioned by the conduct of the independent contractor for the sum as approved by City Council at the time of the letting of the contract. The failure of any independent contractor to provide the certificate of insurance or who shall let their certificate of insurance lapse during the period of the contract, shall be deemed a material breach of the contract and which shall be immediately terminated.
