§ 34.02 ONLY POLICE OFFICERS TO DISCHARGE DEADLY FIREARMS WITHIN CITY LIMITS; EXCEPTIONS.
   Except as otherwise set forth in this section, no person other than a duly-authorized police officer shall fire any type of deadly firearms within the city limits unless said deadly firearm is legitimately fired in self-defense or defense of others and in accordance with all applicable laws. The Mayor or his or her designee may discharge a deadly firearm to euthanize an injured animal. The penalty for violation of this section shall be as set forth in § 10.99.
