(A) For violations of ordinances that conform to KRS 65.8808 over which the Joint Board has jurisdiction, the Joint Board may impose the civil fines established in the ordinance, or, if no civil fine is specified in the ordinance, the Joint Board may impose the following schedule of fines:
(1) If the citation for a violation of an ordinance is not contested by the person charged with the violation, the penalties set forth in this subsection shall apply:

(2) If the citation is contested and a hearing before the Joint Board is required, the Joint Board, in its discretion, may impose a penalty up to the following maximum amounts:

(B) Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served in accordance with the terms of the ordinance may be deemed a separate offense.
