(A) The City Clerk, or a deputy designated by him or her, shall be the Clerk of the Municipal Court.
(B) The Clerk shall:
(1) Assist the Judge in recording the proceedings of the court, preparation of writs, processes, or other papers;
(2) Administer oaths required in judicial or other proceedings before the Court;
(3) Be responsible for the entry of all pleadings, processes, and proceedings in the dockets of the Court;
(4) Perform such other clerical duties in relation to the proceedings of the Court as the Judge shall direct;
(5) Receive and give receipt for and disburse or deliver to the Municipal Treasurer all fines, forfeitures, fees, deposits, and sums of money properly payable to the Municipal Court; and
(6) (a) Pay to the Treasurer of this municipality immediately all money so received by him or her, except such special deposits or fees as shall be received to be disbursed by him or her for special purposes.
(b) All money paid to the Treasurer shall be placed in the General Fund of the municipality, or in such fund as the governing body may direct, and it shall be used in the operation of the municipal government in accordance with budgetary arrangements governing the fund in which it is placed.
