§ 132.03 FIREWORKS REGULATED.
   (A)   Discharge of fireworks within city limits prohibited. It is unlawful for any person to fire, ignite, light, shoot, or explode, or cause to be ignited, fired, or exploded, any fireworks, fire crackers, guns, torpedoes, skyrockets, sparklers, or explosives of any nature or kind, within the city limits. For the purpose of this section, FIREWORKS shall have the same meaning as defined in 68 O.S. § 1622. Nothing in this section shall be construed as prohibiting the possession or use of fireworks for public display by holders of a permit for a public display issued by the city pursuant to the city’s Fire Prevention Code.
   (B)   Sale of fireworks within city limits prohibited. It is unlawful for any person to sell fireworks within the city limits except by permit. A person may be allowed to sell fireworks on specified dates after application and meeting conditions of approval. Conditions include, but are not limited to, the following:
      (1)   Location:
         (a)   C-1 zoning;
         (b)   Minimum open area of 140 feet by 140 feet; and
         (c)   No traffic obstruction (must have adequate off-road, onsite parking that does not interfere or block any rights-of-way).
      (2)   Application and documents:
         (a)   Submit application by designated date;
         (b)   Copy of photo ID;
         (c)   Certificate of inspection by Fire Marshal; and
         (d)   Proof of liability insurance.
