§ 77.50 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CITY STREETS. Any of the streets within the boundaries of the city, except for state highways.
   DRIVER’S LICENSE. A valid license issued to operate a motor vehicle issued by the state or any other state.
   FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. Liability insurance coverage on a golf cart and utility vehicle in an amount not less than required by the state law for motor vehicles operated on public roadways and highways in the state.
   GOLF CART. A vehicle specifically designed and intended for the purposes of transporting one or more persons and their golf clubs or maintenance equipment while engaged in the playing of golf, supervising the play of golf, or maintaining the condition of the grounds on a public or private golf course.
   OPERATOR. Only persons 16 years of age or older and holding a valid driver’s license may operate a golf cart and utility vehicle on the streets of the city.
   UTILITY VEHICLE. A self-propelled, electronically powered fourth-wheeled motor vehicle (or a self-propelled, gasoline powered four-wheeled motor vehicle with an engine displacement under 1,200 cubic centimeters) which is capable of attaining in one mile a speed of more than 20 mph, but not more than 25 mph.
