§ 51.05 RIGHT TO TURN OFF WATER IN MAINS; CITY NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES FROM PRESSURE.
   The city reserves the right to turn off the water in its mains at any time for the purpose of making repairs or in the event of a breakdown in equipment or machinery. All persons taking water from the mains shall do so at their own risk, and the city shall not be held responsible for any accident or damage of any kind or character occasioned by pressure in the water mains or by the shutting off of the water or for failure to keep water under pressure in the mains for any reason.
