(A) Violation of this chapter shall subject the offender to a civil penalty of $500. Each day’s continuing violation shall be a separate offense. Provided, however, a civil penalty will not be imposed if the activity in violation of this chapter is ceased immediately upon receiving notice from an employee or member of the Village Council of the village that the offender is engaging in activity in violation of this chapter.
(B) In addition to, and not in lieu of the foregoing civil penalties, this chapter may be enforced by an appropriate equitable remedy issuing from a court of competent jurisdiction, including injunction and order of abatement.
