(A) The Village Administrator or his or her designee is designated as the Public Officer who is authorized to exercise the powers prescribed in this chapter and the General Statutes including the daily oversight of the village’s duties and responsibilities under G.S. 160D-1104.
(B) The Village of Walnut Creek has arranged for Wayne County, North Carolina to perform inspection services within the village’s jurisdiction as authorized by G.S. 160D-1104. The Director of the Wayne County Inspections Department is designated as Public Officer who is authorized to exercise the powers as prescribed in this chapter.
(C) This chapter shall be enforced by the village within its corporate limits.
