The regulations and provisions found in this chapter shall apply to all the properties within the corporate limits of the town and within the territory beyond such corporate limits as now or hereafter fixed, for a distance of approximately one mile in all directions, as established by an ordinance and map adopted on July 15, 1986 by the Town Board of Commissioners in accordance with G.S. § 160A-360.
