(A) The sketch plan review allows an exchange of information between the developer and the regulating body. This step is mandatory for all subdivisions. Normally it is an informal discussion between the developer and the Administrator and other staff as determined by the Town Manager. The process is simply an opportunity for the developer and the community to review the project in light of the town’s development practices and requirements. No formal application or fee is required. It is suggested, however, that plans should be on the same size paper and scale as required for preliminary and final plat. Once the review process has been completed, one copy shall be returned to the subdivider and one copy kept on file in the office of the Administrator.
(B) It is important to remember that this review shall not in any way be construed as constituting an official action of approval for recording of the subdivision plat.
