§ 50.11  WATER AND SEWER USAGE MEASURED BY METERS.
   (A)   Water and sewer shall be furnished to consumers at metered rates only except in the case of special circumstances, which may include, but are not restricted to:
      (1)   Physical barriers temporarily blocking access to the meters;
      (2)   Natural events that cause temporary loss of access to meters such as heavy snowfall, flooding and the like;
      (3)   Any situations that might present an imminent safety hazard to town employees; and
      (4)   Any other situation as deemed acceptable by the Town Board.
   (B)   During such special circumstances, the town will provide customers with an estimated bill. Estimated bills will be clearly marked as such in writing on the bill and in town records. Adjustments will be made in the following month’s bill to ensure that customers are fairly billed for metered usage of service.
