§ 110.13  LIABILITY INSURANCE OR BOND.
   (A)   Before any person shall operate a taxicab or motor vehicle for hire on the streets, alleys and highways of the town he or she shall furnish and keep in effect for each taxicab or other such motor vehicle so operated a policy of insurance or surety bond, with personal or corporate surety whose solvency shall at all times be subject to the approval of the Board, to be conditioned on such operator responding in damages for any liability incurred on account of any injury to persons or damage to property resulting from the operation of any such taxicab or other motor vehicle for hire in amounts as follows: $10,000 covering injuries to one person in any single accident; $20,000 covering injuries to more than one person in any single accident; and $25,000 covering property damage in any single accident.
   (B)   Such policy of insurance or surety bond shall be filed with the Town Clerk as a condition precedent to the operation of any such taxicab or other motor vehicle for hire over the streets of the town.
