The town, as authorized by G.S. § 160A-360, with the adoption of G.S. Chapter 9, Article 10 (establishing an extraterritorial planning jurisdiction), is hereby authorized to exercise all the powers granted to the town by G.S. Chapter 160A, Article 19, providing, however, that the town shall not exercise any power conferred by said article that said town is not exercising within its corporate limits.
