(A) The town finds that allowing food truck businesses to operate in the town would promote diversification of the town’s economic employment opportunities and would support incubation and entrepreneurial growth consistent with the principals of the town’s comprehensive plan.
(B) G.S. § 160A-174 grants cities the power to define, prohibit and regulate acts, omissions or conditions detrimental to the health, safety or welfare of its citizens and the peace and dignity of a town through the creation of ordinances.
(C) Food truck businesses bring benefits to communities they also bring unique regulation challenges.
