§ 71.04 LIMITED PARKING.
   (A)   Two hours. When signs are placed, erected or installed in each block giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for longer than two hours at any time of any day, except Sunday and public holidays, upon any of the streets described in Chapter 74, Schedule III, of this traffic code and the changing of the position of a vehicle from one point directly to another point within the same block shall be deemed one continuous parking period.
   (B)   One hour. When signs are placed, erected or installed in each block giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for longer than one hour at any time, except Sunday and public holidays, upon any of those streets and the changing of the positions of a vehicle from one point directly to another point within the same block shall be deemed one continuous parking period.
   (C)   Fifteen minutes. When signs are placed, erected or installed in each block giving notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for longer than 15 minutes at any time upon those streets, and the changing of the position of a vehicle from one point directly to another point within the same block shall be deemed as one continuous parking period.
   (D)   Parking spaces designated for law enforcement officers.
      (1)   Pursuant to G.S. § 160A-301(d), when signs are placed, erected or installed designating such parking spaces as restricted for authorized law enforcement vehicles, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in such space, unless that person is an active-duty law enforcement officer in a designated law enforcement vehicle, in the following area: Walmart Supercenter located at 5625 S NC 41 Hwy, Wallace, NC 28466.
      (2)   The owner of a vehicle parked in violation of this section shall be deemed to have appointed any appropriate law enforcement officer as his or her agent for the purpose of arranging for the transportation and safe storage of such vehicle.
