§ 51.45 WATER SOLD ON METER BASIS ONLY; EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   All water, unless herein otherwise provided for, shall be sold by measure for which purpose the town will install and maintain a proper meter, but the right is reserved by the town to omit the meter for a period as it may deem desirable, in which event the service shall be paid for at the minimum meter rate.
   (B)   In the event it should be determined that a meter is showing a defective or erroneous reading, the water consumer shall be charged for the average of the last three months within which the meter was working.

§ 51.46 USE OF WATER FOR FIRE PROTECTION.
   Where unmetered services are introduced for purposes of fire protection no charge for water so used will be made other than the service rate herein provided for, but the services shall be separate and apart from all services for other purposes and no use shall be made of the fire protection connections for any other than the service intended.

§ 51.47 TAPPING CHARGES.
   For making taps and furnishings all material necessary to deliver the service to the curb line, including the meter, the following tapping charges will be made: the charges are as set by Council.
