A. Livestock And Poultry: Except for common household pets, no person shall keep or maintain livestock or poultry within the limits of the City. Animals being maintained at the time of passage hereof are exempt from enforcement. Once said animal is removed or expires, no animal shall take its place.
B. Animal Carcasses: No person shall permit an animal carcass owned or controlled by him to remain upon public property, or to be exposed on private property, for a period of time longer than is necessary to remove and dispose of the carcass, but in no event longer than twenty four (24) hours. C. Penalty: Failure to abate the above nuisances within the City limits after reasonable notice to the landowner, tenant or person responsible for maintaining or allowing the nuisance shall be a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). (2000 Code)
