§ 156.216 ACTION BY COUNCIL.
   (A)   Recommendation considered. The City Council, at the next official meeting following the receipt of the Commission’s report, shall consider the recommendation of the Commission. The City Council shall accept the recommendation of the Commission’s report unless rejected by a majority of the full City Council.
   (B)   Specifications. Upon granting or denying an application, the City Council shall specify:
      (1)   The ordinance and standards used in evaluating the application;
      (2)   The reasons for approval or denial; and
      (3)   The actions, if any, that the applicant could take to obtain a permit.
   (C)   Approval. In the event the City Council shall approve an amendment, such amendment shall hereafter be made a part of this chapter upon the preparation and passage of an ordinance.
