(A) Purpose. The purpose of a C-2 District is to permit the establishment of areas for highway and service business uses only; and is specifically designed in clusters to service the motoring public. This District is generally associated with interchange areas along the major limited-access highways.
(B) Permitted uses. The following uses are permitted in the C-2 Zone:
(1) Gift shops;
(2) Motels or hotels;
(3) Restaurants;
(4) Self-service laundries;
(5) Service stations; and
(6) Travel trailers or campground parks.
(C) Conditional uses. The following are conditional uses permitted within the C-2 Zone:
(1) Bars or taverns;
(2) Car or trailer sales and services;
(3) Car washes;
(4) Livery stables;
(5) Public uses; and
(6) Semi-public uses.
(D) Yards. In the C-2 Zone, a side or rear yard abutting a residential zone shall be screened and have a minimum of 15 feet from the rear of the structure to the back lot line.
(E) Maximum height. Buildings shall not exceed four stories in height.
