(A) Designation. The Chair of the Planning and Zoning Historic Preservation Commission shall act as Administrator to administer this chapter.
(B) Assistants. The Administrator may be provided with the assistance of such other persons as the City Council may direct.
(C) Duties. For the purpose of this chapter, the Administrator shall have the following duties:
(1) Advise interested parties of the provisions of this chapter;
(2) Notify the news media regarding matters of public interest;
(3) Aid applicants in the preparation and expedition of required applications;
(4) Issue zoning approval;
(5) Investigate all violations of this chapter and notify, in writing, the person responsible for such violations, ordering the action necessary to correct such violation; and
(6) Assist the Commission and City Council in carrying out the provisions of this chapter. (Prior Code, § 13-2-2) (Ord. 468, passed 4-15-1980)
