§ 155.161 DESIGNATION; CONTROL.

   (A)   Designation. That, pursuant to the provisions of §§ 155.059 and 156.094 of this code of ordinances, the City Council approves the formal designation of the following historic district as the Historic District:

“That geographical area, including the boundaries and resource status (contributory, compatible, noncontributory) established in the 1979 Wallace Historic District under the National Register of Historic Places nomination, inclusive of the 1983 and 2000 boundary increases and resource status designations, and further inclusive of any future boundary increases or resource status designations as may be made to the Wallace Historic District under the National Register of Historic Places.”

   (B)   Controls. A certificate of appropriateness must be obtained from the Planning and Zoning Commission pursuant to §§ 155.075 through 155.084 and 156.095 before the owners may make alterations or changes to the exterior of any property within the defined Historic District above.
