§ 32.04 POWER TO CALL OTHERS TO ASSIST.
   (A)   Authority. The Chief of Police or any member of the Police Department shall have authority to call upon any person to assist him or her in making an arrest, a capture, or retaining in custody any person.
   (B)   Violation. Any person, when so requested, who shall refuse or fail, to the best of his or her ability, to render such aid as required shall be guilty of an offense, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subjected to penalty as provided in § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
