(A) Channel established through city. The channel of the stream known as the South Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River through the city is hereby located and established as follows, and the following lines of survey and location are hereby adopted as the lines of survey and location of the channel of the South Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River: Beginning at the most easterly point in the channel of the South Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River, which falls within the boundary line of the city, as is now established, thence through the center of the channel thereof, as it now runs, south 32 degrees, 30 minutes west 257 feet; thence south 69 degrees, west 190 feet; thence north 69 degrees, 30 minutes west 383 feet; thence south 74 degrees, 45 minutes west 397 feet thence south 46 degrees west 128 feet; thence south 38 degrees, five minutes west 231 feet; thence south 79 degrees, 15 minutes west 580 feet; thence north 81 degrees, 40 minutes west 232 feet; thence north 73 degrees, 48 minutes west, 366 feet; thence north 59 degrees west 156 feet; thence north 46 degrees, 25 minutes west 420 feet; thence north 47 degrees, 35 minutes west 530 feet to a point where said river passes over the boundary line of the city.
(B) Width of channel. The width of the channel of the South Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River shall be and the same is hereby established at 80 feet (e.g., it shall be 40 feet on each side of the line hereinbefore described in division (A) above).
