§ 112.05 BOND REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Bond requirement. Before any permit may be issued, applicants must file proof of a bond with the City Clerk.
   (B)   Bond amount. The amount of the bond is to be established by resolution by the City Council.
   (C)   Form of bond. Bond may be in the form of a surety bond, cashier’s check, or a letter of credit from a financial institution running to the city.
   (D)   Action against bond. Subsequent action on the bond may be brought by the city for an applicant’s failure to comply with any provision of this chapter. Forfeiture of the bond is a civil remedy and does not foreclose the possibility of criminal prosecution, as otherwise provided in this chapter.
   (E)   Return of bond. Upon expiration of any permit issued under this chapter, the City Clerk shall return the bond within 90 days after receipt of a written request by the applicant for its return, unless the City Clerk receives notice that any provision of this chapter has not been complied with, in which case, the bond will be returned only upon order by a court.
