§ 112.03 SOLICITATION PERMITS.
   (A)   Requirement to obtain permit. It shall be unlawful for any peddler or solicitor to engage in an act of peddling or soliciting within the corporate limits of the city without first receiving a solicitation permit authorizing said activity.
   (B)   Term of permit. A permit issued under this chapter shall be good for the calendar year in which the permit was approved. Each applicant desiring to continue conducting activities regulated by this chapter must reregister with the city annually and receive a new solicitation permit each year.
   (C)   Record of permits issued. The City Clerk must keep a complete list of all applicants authorized to engage in business activities as a peddler or solicitor within the city for the current calendar year.
   (D)   Transferability of permits. Solicitation permits obtained pursuant to this chapter are valid only for the applicant applying for the permit and may not be transferred, sold, or otherwise assigned to any other person.
