(A) The City Treasurer shall have custody of the corporate seal of the city and all records, papers, and files relating to the proceedings or business of the City Council; the City Clerk/Treasurer shall have custody of all ordinances, and when the same are published, he or she shall record the same at length together with the affidavit of publication in an ordinance book which shall be designated as “Ordinance Book Number of the City of Wallace.”
(B) The original of all ordinances shall be filed and preserved by the City Clerk/Treasurer in an orderly file maintained for that purpose.
