(A) There is hereby adopted for the purpose of regulating and controlling roadway and street construction within the city the State Roadway Design Manual, 2013 Edition, the State Right-of-Way Manual, 2018 Edition, the State Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2018 Edition, the State Bridge Design LRFD Manual, 2022 Edition, the State Bridge Hydraulics Manual, 2021 Edition, the State Manual for Bridge Evaluation, 2021 Edition, and other various manuals regarding standards relating to the design, construction, and excavation of roadways, streets, and bridges, prepared by the State Transportation Department, and all changes and alterations issued by the State Transportation Department or by the city, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as an ordinance of the city as fully as though set forth at length herein.

(B) All reference to the state, the State Transportation Department, or the State Highway Engineer will be read to mean the city or its designated Engineer, Architect, and/or appointed City Construction Inspector.

(C) Three copies of the aforementioned manuals, and as the same may hereafter be amended, duly certified by the City Clerk/Treasurer, shall be kept on file in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer for use and examination of and by the public.
