In the event of additional territory being annexed to the Town, such territory may be zoned at the time of annexation. In the event the annexation ordinance does not provide for the zoning of the territory to be annexed, the newly annexed territory shall have R-1 Residential District zoning classification until such time as the revised land use plan shall determine the appropriate use for said land and the proper zoning classification is adopted. Non-conforming use shall be controlled pursuant to the applicable provisions of this chapter and other applicable laws.
