§ 30.081 PLAN COMMISSION.
   (A)   Establishment. There is hereby created a Plan Commission for the Town, which Commission shall exercise all powers and duties as provided by law. This Commission shall serve in an advisory capacity to presently established boards and officials.

   (B)   Plan Commission membership, compositions and terms.
      (1)   The Town Plan Commission shall be composed of:
         (a)   Three official members; and
         (b)   Four citizen members.
      (2)   The three official members shall be in the Town government, at least one of whom shall be a member of the Town Council, appointed by the Town Council.
      (3)   Terms of appointed official members shall coincide with their terms of office or appointment; except that, the Town Council, at the first regular meeting of any year, may appoint another as its representative from the Town government.
      (4)   The four citizen members shall be appointed by the President of the Town Council. Not more than two of the citizen members shall be of the same political party.
      (5)   Terms of the citizen members shall be four years.
      (6)   Terms of the citizen members shall expire on January 1 in the fourth year following their appointment.

   (C)   Powers. The Commission has the power to establish its own rules and regulations within the statute, to appoint a Secretary and professional consultants whom it deems necessary for the making of survey, studies, maps, plans, charts, ordinances or such other data as fall within the scope of the Commission’s authority.
