§ 153.38 ICE AND SNOW REMOVAL; FAILURE TO REMOVE.
   (A)   The occupant, or if unoccupied, the owner, of any premises situated within the Town shall remove ice and snow from the sidewalks in front of and adjacent to such premises within 24 hours after its accumulation.

   (B)   If any such owner or occupant does not remove such ice and snow as provided herein, the Street Superintendent is hereby authorized to remove or cause to be removed same, and report in writing the necessary expense incident thereto to the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town, who shall certify the amount with a description of the lot or parcel of ground, and with the owner or owners’ name or names, to the Clerk-Treasurer, which amount shall then become a lien upon said lot or parcel of ground, and shall be collected by the same Clerk-Treasurer at the same time and in the same manner that he or she collects other assessments on real estate.
