For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MERCHANDISE. Items normally found in a household.
RESIDENTIAL. Includes sales of merchandise in a district zoned for residential purposes from a private residence under whatever name, including, but not limited to, garage sales, patio sales, rummage sales or porch sales where the sale is advertised and open to the general public.
