(A) Effective 9-1-1983, all motor vehicles which are presented to the Town Police Department pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 9-17-2-12 for an inspection shall be charged a sum as set out in the Fee Schedule in Ch. 35 of this code of ordinances for such inspection which shall be paid immediately following the completion of said inspection.
(B) Said fee as herein specified is hereby found to be reasonably related to the cost of the service provided.
(C) Upon making such inspection, all individuals who present such vehicles for inspection shall be issued a receipt for the fee collected and such amounts, once collected, shall be deposited to the Police Continuing Education Fund of the Town, to be used for such purposes as may be allowed by state law.
