The Town Council is hereby authorized to make monetary donations to memorial funds or fund created for the benefit of surviving family members in those instances where a Town employee or resident of the Town dies in a tragic accident or under circumstances where the Town Council feels that such a monetary donation is appropriate. Said monetary donation shall be made from the account created by the Town for donations.
