(a) Definitions. "Canvasser" or "solicitor" means any person whether a resident of the Village or not, traveling either by foot, motor vehicle or any other type of conveyance, from place to place, from house to house or from street to street, distributing literature or other printed materials, soliciting funds or support, taking surveys, or related activities.
(b) License Required. No canvasser or solicitor shall engage in such activities within the corporate limits of the Village without first obtaining a license therefor and complying with the provisions of this chapter.

(c) Time Limits. No canvasser or solicitor shall engage in such activities other than between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
