Every transient vendor of medicine shall obtain a license before engaging in business and shall pay therefor a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each day that such business is carried on. The license shall terminate automatically with the last day for which the sum shall have been paid. The term transient vendor of medicine shall mean and include a hawker, peddler, proprietor of a medicine show, and any person selling medicines from a vehicle, tent, or other temporary stand or quarters.
