541.09 SIGNS.
   (a)   No person shall place a sign in the public right of way regardless of whether such sign is temporary in nature (for example garage sale signs, political signs, and other temporary signage) unless the sign is removed within thirty days of the posting of the sign in the event of political signs and seven days for all other temporary signs.
   (b)   In the event that the Mayor or Village Manager determines that any sign constitutes a danger to the public or that its location in the public right of way is inappropriate, then the Village officials shall have the right to remove such sign. In all other instances removal of such signs is the responsibility of the owner of the sign within the time limit set forth herein.
   (c)   No person shall place signs on utility poles.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor per each violation. Each separate day that a sign is not removed within the time limit set forth herein shall constitute a separate offense.
