There is hereby created the position of part-time Assistant Village Superintendent, a part- time position in the Village government. The part-time Assistant Village Superintendent shall be responsible for assisting the Village Superintendent in the performance of his duties relative to the Village water and sewer systems, the streets and other duties as directed by the Village Superintendent or the Village Administrator. The compensation and benefits, if any, for said position shall be established from time to time by Council. Notwithstanding any other provision contained in these ordinances, in the event the part-time Assistant Village Superintendent is called in after regular business hours to perform the duties of his or her position, he or she shall receive not less than three hours call-in compensation time. The direct supervisor for the part-time Assistant Village Superintendent shall be the Village Superintendent.
