In numbering buildings fronting toward any street or avenue of the Village, the initial point for streets running North and South shall be Main Street; and the initial point for streets running East and West shall be Pleasant Street; and buildings fronting toward any street or avenue of the Village shall be numbered with the even numbers placed on the right-hand side of the street and odd numbers upon the left-hand side of the street, commencing at the initial points.
