The method of numbering buildings fronting upon any street or avenue in the Village of Wakeman shall be as follows: Proceeding from the initial point upon any street the buildings thereon shall be numbered in consecutive order, except that the initial number shall be ten; reserving, however, for each sixty-six feet of unoccupied or vacant lots and lands abutting upon the street a number, which number shall be the same as would belong to the building if there was a building upon such unoccupied or vacant lot or land.
